Merry Christmas!

For our family, it takes a village to make Christmas cookies. I wasn't really sure if we would be making cookies with Jasper this year, but Jack's cousin Debbi changed all that. She made Christmas cookies for our family party and was kind enough to make some extra dough for Jasper and I. She used a family recipe, so that made this extra special.

A couple of days later, my friend Heather hosted a cookie decorating get-together. It was there that Jasper and I rolled out the dough, cut the cookies, and baked them. Heather then provided a great work space.

This is a funny picture, but I like it...

Jasper found Heather's Tupperware stash. He has a knack for that...

By the time the cookies were done baking we had to go, it was past Jasper's nap time and he was not up to decorating. Heather sent us on our way with some wonderful royal frosting that she had made.

It took us a few days to get to actually frosting the cookies, Jasper had gotten sick. (He's much better now but for a few days he had a temperature of 104--not fun.)

Jasper caught on fast!

I think Santa just came by, take a look at our living room. Merry Christmas everyone!
